By buying back $USTC then burning it, we are creating buy pressure which helps to reduce the debt USTC has after its depeg, and helping to increase its price ready for a repeg!
Doing this puts us in better footing for a repeg if we can increase its price.

Don't worry about $LUNC we haven't disowned you! Once we stabilise USTC and manage a repeg, our lovely LUNC will be burnt at a rapid pace through the Market Module (MM) - A pace no burn can match!
