A digital asset exchange-traded fund, Bitwise, forecasts the RWA industry would be worth over $50 billion in 2025. This is a top-10 crypto forecast for next year. The paper states that tokenized RWA was worth less than $2 billion three years ago.
Bitwise experts predicted Wall Street's continued adoption of crypto in “The Year Ahead: 10 Crypto Predictions for 2025,” released on December 10.
ParaFi Venture Capital and Global Financial Markets Association share Bitwise's 2025 projections. ParaFi expects the RWA market to reach $2 trillion by 2030, whereas GFMA set a five-year objective of $16 trillion.
Brickken CEO and co-founder Edwin Mata told FXStreet in an exclusive interview:
RWA will matter to crucial people. BlackRock and JP Morgan are entering to make RWA matter. I see AI agents involved. Different governments might use Bitcoin as treasury.
Meme coins are a major trend in market cycle and may continue in 2025.
“Meme coins may fade or grow next year. It may find a commercial niche. Trends are welcomed and embraced.”
Edwin stressed the need for the category to become a vertical like L1,L2, AI, DePin. Edwin said:
“With meme coins, it's like gambling, but not the main story. Market maturity and verticality are all that matter.”
Bitcoin is stabilizing over $94,000 despite a drop in derivatives exchange open interest and BTC holdings.
