European cryptocurrency exchanges are preparing to delist Tether (USDT), the world's largest stablecoin, by December 30, 2024. The move comes as exchanges work to comply with the European Union's Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulations.
Tether hasn’t minted anything in over two weeks, and nobody knows why. This has been sending shockwaves through the crypto markets.
Tether will be officially banned in Europe for refusing to comply with regulatory requirements.
As a result, hundreds of exchanges will delist Tether, the glue holding the markets together. The ticking time bomb is about to explode!
