According to an analysis of data from two popular prediction markets conducted by Cointelegraph, analysts are betting that 2025 will be a "record" year for cryptocurrencies.

They also expect the United States to greenlight several new types of cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve.

As of December 26, Kalshi estimates over a 60% chance that BTC and ETH will reach at least $125,000 and $5,000 respectively in 2025. Polymarket estimates a 50% chance that BTC will hit $120,000 before the end of March.

To date, Bitcoin's all-time high is around $108,300, while Ether's is around $4,720.
