Odaily Odaily report: According to a report released by Chainalysis on December 19, North Korean hackers stole more than $1.3 billion worth of <Dai> in 47 incidents in 2024, accounting for about 61% of the total reported theft amount that year. Chainalysis said "North Korea's <Dai> attacks appear to be becoming more frequent," and added that "it is noteworthy that the frequency of attacks between $50 million and $100 million and over $100 million in 2024 is much higher than in 2023, indicating that North Korea is getting better and faster at large-scale attacks. This is in stark contrast to the previous two years, when North Korea's attacks were more frequent but each attack generated less than $50 million in profits."
