Hong Kong Monetary Authority cuts interest rates by 25 basis points

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has lowered the benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.75%. Previously, the U.S. Federal Reserve announced a 25-basis-point rate cut earlier today.
