The cryptocurrency market is entering a highly volatile phase, with Bitcoin's dominance showing significant signs of change. Renowned analyst Master Kenobi has shared detailed insights into this shift and its connection to the upcoming altcoin season, offering strategic perspectives for investors.
Declining Bitcoin Dominance: A Key Indicator?
According to Master Kenobi, Bitcoin's dominance began decreasing 20 days earlier than expected, marking the start of a volatile phase likely to last until at least April 6 next year. This period is crucial for the capital rotation cycle, where profits from Bitcoin gradually flow into altcoins.
Historically, a sharp drop in Bitcoin dominance often coincides with the beginning of altcoin season. Kenobi predicts that even if the market continues to rally after April 6, this phase will remain the most rewarding for many altcoins.
The Halving Connection and Long-Term Outlook
Kenobi also highlighted the correlation between Bitcoin halving milestones and market fluctuations. In the previous cycle, just four days after the halving anniversary, the market witnessed a significant low in Bitcoin dominance. This time, the bottom could occur between April 20–23, 2025, signaling the first peak for the cryptocurrency market.
However, Kenobi warns that these projections require adjustments as new data emerges. With the recent decline, the market appears to be transitioning into a new cycle where altcoins may take center stage in capital flows.
Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $100,300, with its dominance standing at 55.13%. As the market prepares for significant shifts, this may be the ideal time for investors to position themselves strategically and seize opportunities in the upcoming altcoin season.
