The Eigen Foundation has pledged to allocate 1% of the EIGEN token supply to the Protocol Guild. The Protocol Guild is an organization that provides a collective funding mechanism for Ethereum Layer 1 R&D maintainers, with more than 180 members from 29 teams working on client development, research, specification development, and testing and coordination.
