All the talk recently has been around spot Bitcoin ETFs and if you remember there are 12 spot ETF applications outstanding that the SEC could in theory approve in the next few days failing that experts believe there is a 90% chance that they will get approved by January however what caused the pump in crypto prices yesterday and caused eth's price to push past $2,000 for the first time in months was speculation over a spot ethereum ETF instead now it emerged that black rock which as you'll remember is one of the entities filing for a spot Bitcoin ETF is also now looking to do the same for ethereum as well.
