Ken Sim, mayor of Vancouver, Canada's third largest city, announced plans to include Bitcoin in the balance sheet of the city of Vancouver to diversify the city's investment portfolio and become a Bitcoin-friendly city. This proposal will be submitted to the city council on December 11.
