Community, welcome to our mainnet once again!
Although connecting to our network is quite a user-friendly friendly process that follows the regular flow of all the widespread wallets, we want to eliminate all the obstacles you might face during the testnet to mainnet transition.
Follow the guide below to get started:
Automated Connection:
For an automated connection, enter prom.io and click on the “Connect Wallet” button in the right upper corner.
Prompt a MetaMask notification to add Prom to your network list.
3. Approve to proceed. The network will automatically be added to MetaMask.
Manual Connection:
If you prefer manual configuration, enter the network list on MetaMask and click the “Add Network” button. Fill in the required network information:
Website: https://prom.io/
Chain Name: Prom
RPC URL: https://rpc.prom.io/
ChainID: 227
Block Explorer URL: https://promscan.io/
Currency: PROM
Bridge: https://prom.io/bridg
How to Bridge Assets to Prom Network
Bridge $PROM
To bridge $PROM from BSC or Ethereum to Prom, use our Prom Bridge. Following the same logic, you can bridge $PROM from Prom back to BSC or Ethereum, or also use it for BSC to Ethereum/Ethereum to BSC bridging.
Here’s the split of all the possible options for $PROM:
Ethereum — PromBSC — PromProm — EthereumProm — BSCEthereum — BSCBSC — Ethereum
To start bridging, enter: https://prom.io/bridge. Choose the needed asset and bridging route and follow the prompts generated by your wallet to proceed with bridging.
Once you set the needed asset and networks, you will see the info on bridge providers: Prom bridge or Hyperlane. Hyperlane is one of the infrastructure providers of our network that ensures the integrity of cross-chain operations related to bridging, so both options are completely secure to use.
To see the $PROM movement associated with bridging, use our Mainnet Explorer and enter the Internal Transactions section in address details.
Bridge Stablecoins to Prom
To bring you additional convenience using Prom, you can also bridge USDT and USDC to Prom and back: bridging is now available from and to Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, or Arbitrum. Follow the same steps as for bridging $PROM:
Enter https://prom.io/bridge;
Choose the preferred networks and asset;
Proceed with bridging, and approve the transaction using the prompts generated by your wallet.
If you want to dive a bit deeper into technical peculiarities, USDT and USDC exist as synthetic assets on Prom. Meaning, our solution supported by Hyperlane takes the needed amount of tokens from the networks, and replicates the tokens on the Prom side to complete bridging.
To see the USDT/USDC movement and minting associated with bridging, use our Mainnet Explorer and enter the Token Transfers section in address details.
We will further work on adding more chains and assets to our bridge to enhance your experience interacting with the Prom network and are always glad to hear your feedback and suggestions regarding new networks that should be added.
Start Interacting with Products of Prom Ecosystem
You can already start using the network for your daily on-chain operations and connect via mainnet to V60 and Rekt.me. The connection process also follows the regular flow: find the “Connect Wallet” button on both platforms, and proceed with the preferred wallet. Wallet UI will automatically suggest changing the network to Prom. You can always connect to Prom with a manual configuration as well.
