💎Private EVM Research: Beldex has launched a Proof of Concept EVM for the integration of the Ethereum Virtual Machine onto its privacy-based network. Enabling confidential smart contracts has several upsides to it, namely enhanced privacy, new uses cases, greater security (since the information fed into the smart contract isn’t known by the verifiers), increased transaction speed and efficiency in handling smart contract transactions such as reduced storage requirements etc.
💎BNS Hardfork: The Beldex Name Service (BNS) is a decentralized and private domain name system that exists within the Beldex ecosystem. It is an interoperable name system that allows users to send and receive BDX, host private and censorship free domains, and connect with them on BChat, the decentralized messaging app built on top of the Beldex blockchain. The BNS update will be a hardfork on the Beldex chain that serves to add the BNS functionality to the network. BNS is expected to be launched by the end of Q4, 2023.
💎Beldex Privacy Protocol: The Beldex privacy protocol is an asset-anonymizer that generates synthetic yet private tokens for equivalent transparent tokens. For example, you can exchange Bitcoin for equivalent private bitcoins on the Beldex privacy protocol. A one-time burnable address is generated by the protocol to hold the private tokens. Your private bitcoin in the shielded/burnable address can then be transferred to the recipient address, which is also shielded/burnable. The recipient then redeems the original tokens by exchanging it for the private tokens. This adds a layer of privacy to your transactions. The protocol is multi-chain as it can be deployed on any EVM compatible network.
💎Optional Privacy: Optional privacy in privacy coins provides users with the flexibility to choose when to conceal their transaction details. This feature strikes a balance between privacy and transparency, catering to various use cases and user preferences within the Beldex ecosystem. Optional privacy is being discussed as it provides users with greater access to services in certain areas.
💎Beldex Browser: The Beldex browser is currently under research. It is a user-centric browser that protects user privacy. The browser will be integrated with the BelNet dVPN.
