Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence revealed that US bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) made significant purchases of BTC this week, amounting to $1.38 billion within a three-day period. This surge in buying activity marks the highest volume in the last four months. Arkham further noted that BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, played a substantial role in these inflows, accounting for more than 50% of ETF purchases. Specifically, BlackRock invested approximately $760 million in BTC over the three-day span. The recent surge in buying by US bitcoin spot ETFs indicates growing institutional interest in the cryptocurrency market. As more traditional financial institutions recognize the potential of digital assets, the demand for regulated and accessible investment vehicles like ETFs is expected to continue.
