Radiant Capital hacked: More than $50 million in crypto stolen

Radiant Capital, a multi-chain decentralized finance protocol where users can lend and receive, was hacked. It was stated that the attack, in which more than 50 million dollars of cryptocurrencies were stolen, covered the protocol's Arbitrum and BSC networks. RDNT, the protocol's own token, also fell by more than 10%.

Radiant Capital, the DeFi protocol that aims to bring together the liquidity in different blockchains and provides services in this direction, has been hacked. Some security companies provide information that 51 million dollars and some 58 million dollars worth of cryptocurrencies have been stolen.

In the statement made by Radiant Capital; It was stated that companies such as SEAL911, Hypernative, ZeroShadow and Chainalysis are being worked on and extra information will be provided in the coming hours. The attack took place on the protocol's Arbitrum and BSC networks. Markets in Base and Mainnet networks have also been stopped.

It is stated that the hacker took control of the protocol's multi-signature wallet. It is claimed that Radiant's multi-signature system consists of 11 signatures, but only 3 signatures are sufficient to provide control.

Security firm Hacken also stated that the hacker made an attempt 6 days ago, but it was not successful.

Radiant also experienced a "flash credit" attack in January and lost 4.5 million dollars.
