Hamster Kombat, the popular Telegram-based mobile game,
has shared new details about its upcoming cryptocurrency airdrop.
The latest update in the game's Telegram Mini App provides players with instructions on how to earn airdrop points.
Players can accumulate these points through various activities like generating passive income, completing tasks, reaching milestones, and referring friends.
Eligibility for the airdrop will also depend on factors such as participation in game cycles, community engagement,
social activity,
and the quality of referred players.
This news comes as Hamster Kombat celebrates reaching 300 million players and teases the launch of what it claims will be the "largest airdrop in the history of crypto." While 60% of the HMSTR tokens are reserved for players, specific details about the tokenomics are still under wraps.
The game aims to introduce a billion mainstream users to Web3 by providing an easy entry point to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
Justin Hyun, director of investments at TON Foundation, believes Telegram could play a key role in driving widespread blockchain adoption. Meanwhile, Ton Network (TON) has seen a 9% increase in the past 24 hours during a broader market recovery, although it has dropped 14% over the past month following a crypto market selloff. Despite this, TON remains among the top 10 cryptocurrencies, with a market cap of $15.5 billion.
