TON Applications Chain Not Created by Official TON Team
🤷 The TON development team is not associated with the creation of the L2 network TON Applications Chain, despite media reports, stated Anton Tsivarev, Director of Ecosystem Development at #TONFoundation .
👀 According to him, this is an independent development by third parties. Another unnamed representative of the TON team also confirmed this in a comment to The Block.
📰 As a reminder, yesterday many outlets, including CoinDesk, reported that TON would launch its own L2 solution based on Polygon CDK, the TON Applications Chain (TAC).
💻 TAC is intended to add #EVM -based applications to the #tonecosystem . The solution will also enable developers to launch new applications for Telegram.
