I can't believe I'm writing this, but some of the posts I've seen need to be addressed.

I've read claims that trading releases the same chemicals in the brain as cocaine, that taking Adderall can boost reaction times, and that video gaming or quick reflexes might improve trading performance. I've seen discussions about the adrenaline rush from trading and how to manage trading excitement.

Let me make this clear: No, no, no, no, and no! This mindset will lead to immediate failure.

Trading is not about getting a rush. It’s not a drug. It’s not about quick reflexes or extreme reaction times. Trading is not like cocaine.

Trading is about being calculated, patient, principled, repetitive, systematic, disciplined, and most importantly, if you're doing it right, it should be boring!

That’s not to say I don’t enjoy it—I love it and it’s my career. But to succeed in this field, you need a process. You need a system. You need a set of rules to follow. You need a strategy. You need discipline. You need patience.

None of that gives you a rush.

If you feel a "rush" from trading, that's a sign of a gambling addiction. #crypto #trading #bitcoin
