According to cryptocurrency research company Kaiko, the percentage of bitcoin traded over the weekend has fallen to a record low of 16% this year.
The drop came after the launch of spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds, which apparently shifted bitcoin trading periods to be more in line with the schedules of traditional stock exchanges and reduced the volatility of their prices
