27 Bitcoins Sent To Satoshi Nakamoto's Wallet 😱🤔👀
An unidentified user sent 26.9 bitcoin (BTC) valued at $1.17 million to the public address of the genesis block, the wallet containing the first 50 bitcoin issued in history, also known as the Satoshi Nakamoto, plus others that people have submitted over the years. It is unlikely that the funds stored in that wallet will ever be recovered. The transaction was made from a wallet associated with Binance, which was empty after the operation. The user paid $100 in network commission, an unusual fee. According to explorer Arkham Intelligence, most of the funds came from a wallet labeled as belonging to Binance. In principle, the address that sent the 26.9 BTC to Satoshi Nakamoto 's address was part of a more complex operation, which involved transactions from 3 wallets to 12 other wallets. Before the operation, Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet, as the address of the genesis block is also known, accumulated 72 BTC, which correspond to the 50 BTC issued in the genesis block, which have never been moved, plus 22 BTC that numerous people have sent over the years. Most of these hundreds of transactions have a value of a few satoshis (minimum unit of one bitcoin, equivalent to cents on the dollar) and it is speculated that many correspond to attempts to decipher the address key and simple tributes that people make regarding to the birth of Bitcoin as a payment network. With the transfer of these 26.9 BTC, Satoshi Nakamoto's address accumulates almost 100 bitcoin (99.67 BTC ), valued at 4,356 million dollars. As time has passed, there has been much speculation about the reason why Satoshi Nakamoto, creator of Bitcoin, has never used the bitcoins that he is speculated to have mined during the first year of Bitcoin's life and that are estimated to make up a fortune of 1 .1 million bitcoin ($43 billion). The truth is that after their disappearance from public life it becomes less and less likely that these funds will have any destination.
