Finance minister, Mehmet Simsek said that a report from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) found Turkey fully compliant with all but one of the 40 standards. "The only remaining issue within the scope of technical compliance is the work related to crypto assets," Simsek said. Turkey will be submitting a law proposal on crypto-assets to parliament as soon as possible, after that Turkey will have the green light to utilize crypto-assets.
