The issuer of the USDT #stablecoin , Tether, has invested approximately $420 million in 10,000 NVIDIA H100 graphics processors in exchange for a 20% stake in the German mining company Northern Data.

The latter plans to diversify its business by renting out the chips to startups in the artificial intelligence sector. #NVIDIA H100 with tensor cores is used for a wide range of tasks in AI and high-performance computing.
