Ark is a programmable platform catered towards customization by professional clients. Ark Deployer allows an easy deployment of side-chains that may be fully adapted to specific business cases. All side chains will connect back to the Ark mainnet.
The mainnet makes use of a delegated Proof of Stake consensus mechanism and hereby realizes a blocktime of 8-seconds. A total of 51 delegates are involved in dPoS, where stakers of Ark receive one vote per Ark staked. Ark further supports cold staking.
Ark is built with business applications in mind, with features such as multiple seed phrases to create permissioned accounts.
Ark features a currency, ARK, that may be used within the Ark ecosystem to pay for various Mainnet Services.
