U.S. convenience store chain Sheetz has expanded its crypto payment partnership with Flexa, now accepting Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and stablecoins like USD Coin (USDC) at more than 750 locations across multiple states.
This expansion highlights the growing demand for alternative payment methods.
Flexa’s platform enables secure, instant transactions, with Sheetz among the first major U.S. chains to support such payments.
Sheetz first adopted crypto payments in 2021, initially offering Bitcoin payments at in-store locations and gas pumps.
Ryan Sheetz, Sheetz’s executive vice president, expressed enthusiasm about providing digital payment solutions, noting increased interest in crypto from customers.
