This one is crazy !! 😱Venezuela's government has seized a large amount of weaponry and equipment from the notorious Tren de Aragua gang's Tocorón prison, which was reportedly used for bitcoin mining. The gang, known for kidnappings, robberies, drug trafficking, prostitution, extortion, and illegal gold mining, has been attempting to make extra cash with old Bitmain Antminers. The prison, which has served as the gang's headquarters, has been found to have a restaurant, pool, children's playground, gambling rooms, a disco, a baseball field, and a zoo containing tigers, lions, crocodiles, flamingos, ocelots, and pumas to 'threat' inmates and government officials. Four prison guards were arrested under suspicion of helping the gang members enjoy their facilities, and 60 Tren de Aragua members were captured. 1. Addressing an Unexpected Challenge
1.1)On August 21st, our game servers faced an unexpected circumstance. A notable script-based event aimed to stress our servers and introduce latency to the game. As a result, there was a brief disruption towards the end of Season 6.
1.2)We want to assure you that all user funds, both on-chain and in-game, remain secure and unaffected by this incident.
2. Immediate Actions and Adjustments In response, we've implemented the following measures:
2.1)S6 Settling Time: The settling time for S6 has been rescheduled to 12:00 UTC on Tuesday and adjusted for most activities in the game. This new timing aims to accommodate all players.
2.2)Arena Entries: For S6, there are no restrictions on the number of arena entries. You can engage without concerns about losing your arena opportunities. 2.3)Compensation for Purchased Arena Entries: Players who purchased arena entries before the original settlement time of S6 will receive specific in-game resource compensation. 2.4)Post-S7 Compensation: Upon entering Season 7, all active players in the Arena will receive in-game resource compensations.
3. Future Preventive Measures To safeguard against future situations, we're actively taking steps:
3.1)Enhanced Server Protection: We're enhancing the server's defense mechanisms to detect and counteract script-based events more accurately.
3.2)Strengthened Security: We're enhancing our automatic server defense services to ensure resilience against potential threats.

What is Shapella Upgrade ?
Ethereum's Shanghai upgrade is one of the most important events in the crypto industry in 2023. It is commonly referred to as the Ethereum Shapella upgrade, which comes from Shanghai and Capella, the brightest stars in the northern constellation of Auriga.
The upgrade is taking part on both layers of the network, with Shanghai on the execution layer and Capella on the consensus one. EIP- 4895 is a critical mechanic in Ethereum's network, introducing a pivotal mechanic in the network.
Ethereum was using the proof-of-work consensus algorithm before The Merge took place, but the plans to transition were in play for many years.
To secure the Beacon Chain, validators were able to stake 32 ETH in the Beacon Depositor contract, which contained 18.1 million ETH.
However, they weren't allowed to unstake their 32 ETH until a later date. Now, the Shanghai upgrade, through EIP-4895, will finally allow validators to unlock their ETH. This mechanic will introduce a system-level "operation" to support validator withdrawals that are "pushed" from the beacon chain to the EVM, creating unconditional balance increases to the specified recipients.
Validators will be free to withdraw, albeit with some considerations, their stake, and do whatever they decide with it.
This particular EIP is very important, and it carries massive implications.

File Linked to Assange Hidden in Bitcoin Blockchain
A post on the Reddit community r/bitcoin revealed an encrypted 7zip file possibly linked to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. The file was found in the output script from a transaction that took place on Jan. 5, 2017, and was mined at block height 446,713. Speculation surrounds the purpose of the file, with some speculating that it could be an encrypted link to the switch or files exposing secrets. The transaction occurred five days before Assange read the Bitcoin blockchain hash from block height 447,506. Assange's Ecuadorian asylum was revoked and he was arrested on April 11, 2019, when police raided the embassy.
The contents of the 7zip file are unknown until someone cracks it, and a Reddit post discussed whether adding arbitrary data to the Bitcoin blockchain through Ordinals was a legitimate practice.

This classified the transaction under what is now known as the Howey Test, and therefore it needed to be registered with the SEC.

Visa Proposes Automatic Payments Using Ethereum Layer 2 System StarkNet
Payments processor Visa has proposed a system that uses smart contracts to enable automatic recurring payments on the Ethereum network Layer 2 System StarkNet.
The proposal is called Account Abstraction, it aims to combine user accounts and smart contracts into a single account on the chain.
As of last week, Visa did not reveal any plans to use the system as part of its offered services.

Private banks are going to manage future digital euro transactions.
European Union joined an extensive list of countries willing to launch their central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The ECB's latest report reveals that EU leaders will decide the digital euro's final destiny after October 2023.
The report, in particular, outlines the roles of intermediates in launching CBDCs.
Under the supervision of the ECB, they will operate as direct counterparts for individuals, businesses and merchants.
