Builders on Flow need to ensure smart contracts are updated and staged for Cadence 1.0 on Mainnet, before the September 4th upgrade.

Cadence 1.0 contract staging will not be possible after the network upgrade, any non-updated contracts will permanently stop working along with associated assets.

The Evolution Of Stablecoins on Flow 🌊

As part of the upcoming Crescendo network upgrade, all ERC-20 compatible tokens on Flow can be seamlessly used in Cadence smart contracts. Additionally, all Cadence fungible tokens on Flow will now be ERC-20 compatible.

This ensures full interoperability of Flow applications with the wider web3 ecosystem, whether built with Solidity, Cadence, or a mix of both.
