Here we go: Taiwan responds to China's provocation near its territory - now it's no joke
Taiwan's Defense Ministry has issued a statement
The authorities of the island nation consider China's commencement of exercises near Taiwan's territory to be the strongest provocation. There were even statements that the military training may end in an armed clash between the two countries.
Such a development is becoming more and more realistic, as Taiwan's Defense Ministry has decided to raise the air force in the sky, move ships out of the ports, as well as to put SAMs on alert, but so far only to monitor the maneuvers of the Chinese army.
The reason for this was the approach to the island of two dozen aircraft and 15 ships belonging to the PRC, reports the Taiwan Defense Ministry.
