A 23-year-old man, Rui Xiang Lin, also known as "Faron," has been arrested in New York for allegedly operating a $100 million darknet drug market. Authorities tracked cryptocurrency transfers that led to his identification. Lin was apprehended at John F. Kennedy Airport on May 18 and appeared in federal court on May 20, according to Manhattan prosecutors. The FBI linked Lin to the darknet site by tracing cryptocurrency transfers from Incognito Market to a centralized exchange account in his name. FBI task force officer Mark Reubens testified that Lin's cryptocurrency wallet received funds from the Incognito Market wallet, which were then transferred to an exchange account registered to Lin.
