According to U.Today, an insider from the X team has disclosed a significant shift towards artificial intelligence (AI) that is set to greatly enhance user experience on the platform. The move will also help in eliminating scam and spam comments. The crypto community on the X platform has reacted positively to this AI announcement.
The insider, known as 'DogeDesigner', shared that X's algorithm is transitioning to a post recommendation system that will be entirely AI-based. The new AI-driven X Algo will also organize replies using AI and 'enable full semantic search with AI'. In the process, it will also remove spam and scam comments and replies.
X has been actively incorporating AI recently, primarily through the Grok AI chatbot, which was developed by Elon Musk’s xAI start-up and launched for Premium+ users on the social media network. Musk's venture into AI was prompted by an unexpected move from OpenAI, the ChatGPT producer, which Musk co-founded in 2015. OpenAI began to fully commercialize, contrary to its founding principles. Musk perceives OpenAI and ChatGPT as 'woke' as this chatbot avoids discussing sensitive topics with its users.
In contrast, Grok was designed to use a sense of humor while interacting with users and is being trained on posts and comments from the social media platform. Musk has already launched the Grok 1.5 version, while ChatGPT has released an upgraded 4o version.
In other news, Elon Musk recently announced that all core systems of the X platform have been moved to the x.com domain from twitter.com. This announcement was met with enthusiasm from various cryptocurrency communities, especially those of XRP and DOGE. They began asking whether Musk plans to integrate cryptocurrency payments on the X social media network. X Payments are anticipated to launch by the end of this year. However, Musk has repeatedly clarified that X does not plan to use any native cryptocurrency on the platform.
