1. Determine if there was an ICO (initial sale) for the coin and what the sale price was.
2. Check the total supply of the coin and the circulating supply at launch.
3. Identify the technology sector the coin focuses on, such as AI, ecosystem, gaming, or layer 1/2 solutions.
4. Once you have this information, wait and see the launch price of the coin. Compare the ICO price to the launch price.
5. Look at the coin's market cap at launch. If it’s too high, it might not be worth buying immediately since those who got presale or free airdrops will likely cash out.
6. Ensure the price isn’t significantly higher than the ICO price and the market cap is under $400 million.
7. Determine if it’s a new coin or already trading on other exchanges.
8. Find out if there was a free airdrop of this token. Note that many #Notcoin tokens were airdropped and there was also a launchpool.
Once you gather all this information, decide if you should chase the coin right after it launches.

- Don’t buy a coin immediately after it launches.
- Watch the price action for a few hours.
- Let the coin establish a base price.
