Binance P2P is generally safe, but scammers still lurk! Here's my story to help you stay safe:
Back in 2019, I was a crypto newbie looking to sell some stable coins via P2P. When I placed the order, the buyer claimed it was a company account and payment would come after releasing the coin. Naively, I trusted him blindly – big mistake!
He vanished, leaving me high and dry. 😔 Here's how to avoid such traps:
1️⃣ Only trade with Binance P2P verified merchants.
2️⃣ Check the merchant's completion rate – aim for 90%+.
3️⃣ Read feedback carefully – positive vs. negative.
4️⃣ Look for high total trades with good feedback.
5️⃣ NEVER release crypto without payment! Check your account first.
6️⃣ Don't tap "Payment Received" until you're sure.
For buyers: Click "I have paid" and wait for the seller to release.
