Former Goldman Sachs executive Raul Pal believes that in the current digital asset market cycle, two cryptocurrency ecosystems are competing to become the next big single-layer asset.
In a new interview with Bankless, Pal says he wants to see which one becomes the next "solana" of the bull market (SOL), or which crypto asset will undergo the same parabolic rise and wave of penetration that #solana has experienced over the past few years.
According to Pal, he's looking at two main ecosystems: a blockchain using the Move programming language and a blockchain using #Cosmos (ATOM).
As the Real Vision CEO notes, the most prominent altcoins using the Move language are #Sui (SUI) and #Aptos (APT), and one promising coin using the Cosmos SDK is Celestia (TIA).
Pal said.
I've heard people like Chris Berniske and Meltem Demirors and seen things like Sui Foundation. The first level is mass adoption. The second level is a different story.
I think the Move protocol is Sui and Aptos, because Sui and Aptos are different protocols and have different use cases, so the stronger one wins. Then there is Cosmos: like Celestia.
Who do you think is a good fit for this game. I think Avalanche. They won last cycle, but their distribution doesn't seem to be going full steam ahead and they seem to be ranked lower. ...... " .
