1. 🎭 Scammers imitate Binance Support in a P2P order chatbox or reach out to sellers through off-platform messaging apps, presenting themselves as Binance Support. They trick sellers into believing that the payment from the buyer is on hold until the seller releases the crypto. Spoiler alert: This is a SCAM!
2. 🚫Remember, Binance Support will NEVER chat with you in the P2P order chatbox – it's solely for buyer-seller communication!
3. 💸 Payments for P2P orders occur offline, meaning Binance doesn't supervise the buyer's payment. Always double-check if you have received the money in your bank account or your payment channel before releasing your crypto.
4. 🙅‍♀️ Don't blindly trust SMS or email payment notifications; verify the sender meticulously. Scammers may forge these notifications to swindle you!
