A filmmaker spent Netflix money on cryptocurrency

- The director turned out to be Carl Rinsch, the creator of 47 Ronin.

- Netflix has committed $55 million to Carl Rinsch, to create the series Conquest.

- The company gave the director complete freedom to handle the money...and he first dropped $11 million into his merchant account.

- Carl Rinsch lost almost all of his $11 million in just 2 weeks trading Gilead Sciences options.

- But that's not all, the director was not upset and invested $4 million in DogeCoin. And from $4 million he earned $27!

- Having earned money, the director immediately went on a spending spree, bought 5 Rolls Royces, a Ferrari, a lot of designer furniture and clothes. In fact, he lost all the money again.

- Carl's wife left him and he began demanding more money from Netflix to work on the series.

- As a result, for 5 years of work filmed 0 episodes and half of the budget lost on the stock exchange and in cryptocurrencies. Now Netflix and the director are suing.
