Arbitrum unraveling for $2.41 billion - is it good or bad?
What are we talking about? Companies often block most of their tokens in order to attract investor money for them. Unlocking is the unblocking of previously blocked tokens, after which the number of tokens in circulation increases.
On March 16, Arbitrum will increase the number of its tokens by 75.9%. It's a lot.
This can usually lower the price. More tokens = lower price.
However, the main recipient of tokens is the Arbitrum company itself, represented by its DAO (decentralized autonomous organization). These guys will not immediately sell tokens; a price collapse is not in their interests.
The analogy with Solana and her 2021 bull rally comes to mind. Let me remind you that at that time the price of SOL increased 260 times over the year. Arbitrum has everything necessary to repeat its success.
What do you think?
