Lending in Stagenet

The lending protocol has been deployed in Stagenet, code revision, additional checks and regression testing are currently being carried out.

The new structure of regression testing

Regression testing allows you to test thornode using the "black box" method, using real transactions and API endpoint requests, as well as exporting the status of control points at the end of each request. This simplifies testing analysis and captures more side effects than unit tests.

Reduced fees for outgoing transactions

Improvements have been made to THORChain regarding fees. Previously, THORChain charged users 3 times the price of gas inside the network compared to external networks. Starting with THORNode v108, the logic has been changed to dynamically adjust the multiplier used to estimate gas charges for outgoing transactions. This should lead to an overall reduction in fees, especially for exchanges calculated in Ethereum and ERC-20 assets.

Trust Wallet integration on iOS

Since THORChain was integrated into the iOS app, Trust Wallet has become the largest THORChain interface both in terms of trading volume and in terms of the number of users making daily exchanges.

BNB Chain Integration

BNB Chain is the next network to be integrated into the THORChain protocol. Currently, the developers are engaged in the network client and connection to bifrost, as well as exploring the possibilities of cooperation in the BNB Chain ecosystem.
