Dear World 🌍,

Happy New Year. 🥳

TDLR;

Long Post Ahead, but can save your Hard Earned money here in Crypto(Web3).

Disclaimer:

These are my experienced, I am not an Expert.

I never been hack/scam as well as doing that n*sty thing too since 2017.

Tips and Guide on how you will avoid from being hack/scam here in Crypto(Web3):

1. Acceptance.

Accept that you will so many people you will meet in these space, be careful who you trust on, are your crypto friend/s really a friend?

Number 1 rule, never tell you capital/profits unless you fully trust them or as much as possible never tell anyone, mautangan ka pa. 😂

There is a group of that collect your data and may attack you anytime or the people you know, friends of friends, commenters, taggers, family, friends, relatives, they will ATTACK them.

2. Phishing.

Website Links:

There are project website that looks like the project you participated.

Be careful on the links, don't be so Happy if you got a good amount of Airdrop, still double check the website.

‼️All the time, it is to connect wallet. Not a fake website that asked you to paste your seed phrase.

Twitter:

Fake twitter account but have twitter blue and gold check.

Be vigilant. Blue check can be bought, aswell as gold they can replace their username/name.

Email.

If you don't participate in the Airdrop or a project, never engaged. They aready know you are doing crypto so, take a deep breath always whenever you saw a new email from crypto.

Always advice is to use dummy email for crypto so you will not be confuse.

Plus also list the project you engage in notebook or excel, so you will know if you really participated in the project.

Telegram:

There are so many fake groups and fake people here, be careful who you trust. Disable "allow everybody to add you in group" in your telegram setting

Discord:

There is fake Username, and it is blank.

You will not recognized it unless you click it.

He will mostly post in general, saying that there is Announcements, so genius'

What ever links that may be pass on the text. Don't click links, use your critical mind in clicking links.

Whatsapp:

Yes, this is included. Sometimes you will be ask for task in these, like liking, subscribe or hearting a post.

Once you engaged in crypto, you will be invited by them.

It's a FREE money if you know what you are doing.

Just don't use real account and real info when they are asking, and play with their game.

I usually got 300-700 pesos on them and I don't subscribe on their called, 'subscription' (Hackerman 😎)

3. Wallet.

As much as possible separate your non-custodial wallet(metamask, trust, imtoken, keplr, etc) that have holds your INVESTMENT from your AIRDROPS wallet.

Use a burner or dummy wallet for Airdrop, duh! You're a human you can be wrong too, use as many airdrop wallet as you can, just don't forget the seedphrase or private key. Okay?

4. Dummy Account.

If you can use a dummy socials in participating airdrops it is more convinient, because sometimes it is confusing when switching while grinding those airdrops.

An account for Airdrops/Crypto much better.

5. Privacy.

Never tell anyone here in space your personal info.

I always tell that I live in Sulu, Philippines, but it is not.

Why you want to know me more?

Some of my @followers here are my friends in crypto but I know that they will protect my identity.

Unless they want to fight hackerman, charr.

And my Priority now is Privacy it would be the next digital gold. 👀

Yes you can be hack by telling your address, email, cp number, otp.

Be vigilant, reverse engineering and social engineering which ethical hackers used still exist up until today.‼️

6. Backups

Backups are good aslong as you saved it in a secured place.

Notebook handwritten for your projects and seedphrase/private key.

If via internet, excel with password plus winrar with password.

You can also encrypt the seedphrase/private key in a encrypting website(must be trusted).

Losing a wallet, sending a wrong address those are irreversible.

7. 2-Steps Verifications

Strongest 2fa still is Google Authenticator, aslong as you saved the authenticator key.

If you are not used to it. SMS will do.

Put 2Fa in your facebook, email, twitter, discord , telegram, and all of your other Socials.

That would serve as your secondary protection.

8. Hardware wallet.

Yes I used Hardware wallet in storing my coins, I rarely put coins in Cex(so much regulations, and FTX(never thought that it would closed).

I always use non-custodial wallet like(Metamask, Keplr, Trustwallet and native wallet of the Project I participated).

In Hardware wallet I use Trezor.

I also use it in some Airdrops that I think have most potential.

You can buy here:

It's the cheapest yet been using it for always 4 years.

https://affil.trezor.io/SHPg

I am Official Affiliate.

8. Hackers offering to Help you, for your HACK wallet/account.

That is Pure Scam! They cannot recover your funds, nor changed the seedphrase.

And will asked you to deposit from them.

Ignore!

Accept that you already lost, and be wise next time.

No one mostly help you in Crypto(Web3) so help yourself always.

9. Keep reading and researching.

There is a power in reading.

Crypto(Web3) is a fast pace, learning curve here is slower than innovations.

Laging may bago, at hindi mo yun maaral ng isang araw, who are you? Einstein?

More latest your Knowledge is, the faster you Know the BullS**ts.

10. Public Wifi

Don't ever used Public wifi especially you got big funds in crypto.

If possible used a VPN to prevent wireshark attacks from Kali Linux and other tools that can penetrate your data/info on the device you use to connect on the wifi.

As much as possible use only your own internet.

Hackers/Scammers are everywhere especially here in Crypto.

11. Experienced.

Experienced matter more than your funds.

You can gain more money here in a little Fund but needs more experienced.

A Newbie can lost all of his hard earned money in a week or few days by without enough experienced and skills, or atleast with no Guidance.

Guide them, you are like them when you started Crypto(Web3) so they can passed it on to the next generations.

Best Regards,

Cryptobike
