This Year Has Become an Anniversary- in 2013 the Crypto World Saw the Birth of Ethereum and Then the Practical Use of Smart Contracts
Ten years ago, a guy named Vitalik Buterin proposed the idea of a new digital platform based on blockchain technology. But unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum not only transferred money, but also launched “smart” contracts in the digital environment - the so-called “smart contracts” made it possible to deploy decentralized applications (DApps).
This opened up a lot of possibilities. A decentralized blockchain network allowed to create games, social networks, financial instruments and so on simply by writing the required contract code in Solidity.
So Vitalik’s ideas actually launched a new era of decentralized Internet and finance - Web3, which is now actively developing.
