According to Odaily, Parity Technologies, co-founded by Gavin Wood, is set to introduce a new Web3 identity verification solution named Proof-of-Ink. This innovative approach aims to protect user privacy by using unique tattoos to verify digital identities. Gavin Wood announced that Proof-of-Ink is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2024. Users will need to get algorithm-generated unique tattoos on specific body parts and upload a video of the last three minutes of the tattooing process as proof of their digital identity. Additionally, users will be required to pay a small amount of DOT tokens or use community-shared vouchers to prevent misuse.
