According to U.Today, Billy Markus, co-founder of Dogecoin and known as 'Shibetoshi Nakamoto', has expressed concerns about the potential impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on internet users and businesses that rely on internet traffic. Markus predicts that the shift towards AI-based search engines could lead to significant changes in the way people access information online.

Markus suggests that as search engines become more AI-driven, people may stop visiting websites for information. This could potentially put companies that depend on search engine traffic out of business. Furthermore, he believes that AI will be trained not by journalists, but by random comments from the public on various social media platforms.

However, Markus did not elaborate on the potential consequences of this shift towards AI-based search engines. His comments come in the wake of tech magnate Elon Musk's warning about the potential dangers of AI. Musk recently criticized a new feature called 'Recall' released by Microsoft as part of its Copilot AI. This feature creates a 'memory' for users by taking screenshots of their activities on their PCs and laptops, and every website they visit. These screenshots are then processed by AI, allowing users to search through this 'memory'.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has assured users that this data will not be added to the company's databases. Despite this, Musk has likened the feature to an episode of 'Black Mirror' and stated that he will turn this feature off in the future.
