According to BlockBeats, on May 2nd, Aave Labs, the development team behind Aave, released three temperature check proposals on the Aave governance forum. These proposals outlined the vision for Aave's development over the next 5-7 years, referred to as Aave 2030.
The key content of the proposals included the development proposal for Aave Protocol V4. Building on the foundation of V3, Aave V4 proposed a series of improvements, including a new architectural design to enhance modularity and optimize capital efficiency. It also introduced a unified liquidity layer to seamlessly integrate the native stablecoin GHO, and optimize the liquidation engine and risk management tools. Aave Labs plans to start the development of V4 in Q2 of 2024, with a release expected around mid-2025.
The proposals also included a new visual identification system for Aave. The new system aims to provide a unified and futuristic visual image for all projects in the Aave ecosystem, helping them stand out in an increasingly competitive environment. The new design inherits Aave's friendly little ghost image, symbolizing its enduring innovative genes.
The third proposal, Aave 2030, outlined the vision for Aave's development over the next 5-7 years. Aave Labs hopes to drive the Aave protocol to become one of the most important financial infrastructures in the Web3 era. Key measures include advancing the development of V4, expanding the application of GHO, and strengthening the connection with real-world assets.
