Binance CEO Richard Teng recently took to Twitter to share some significant highlights regarding the company's performance in 2023.

The company saw a 30% increase in registered users, welcoming 40 million new users and reaching a total of over 170 million.

Teng pointed out the company's commitment to keeping cryptocurrency safe. The Binance Investigations team processed more than 53,000 law enforcement requests in 2023, a YoY increase of 3,000. The team also led over 120 training sessions, up by 50 YoY, to assist in detecting cyber and financial crimes.

In terms of compliance, Binance invested a significant $213 million into its compliance program, representing a 35% increase from the previous year ($158 million). The firm also continued its investment in leading KYC vendors and product solutions.

Teng highlighted Binance's proven commitment to back user funds 1:1 while maintaining a debt-free capital structure.

The Binance Academy helped to educate 27 million learners in 31 languages about the world of digital finance in 2023.

In addition, the company kept building real-world use cases, including launching new payment solutions, adding new trading features, and introducing new social features.
