A hacker exploited 15 crypto-focused X accounts, using phishing scams to net $500,000, per investigator ZachXBT. The attacker sent fake copyright notices to trick victims into resetting account credentials, then used the compromised accounts to promote memecoin scams. Targets included Kick, Cursor, and others.
