The #PectraUpgrade uses a concept called system contracts. This is an approach we used EIP-4788 for the Beacon block root in the EVM for the #DencunUpgrade .
The Pectra upgrade introduces atleast 3 new system contracts, i.e for consolidations, withdrawals and blockhash lookup.
