This week, we witnessed what is often called a 'bear trap' and most memecoins dropped 20-50% in just a few days.
While many were sitting on the sidelines waiting for the market to turn green, I started exploring ways to profit during this temporary decline.

After some quick research, I came across DLMM Pools and realized I could generate significant profits even while others were selling.
The key is identifying the most profitable coins and choosing the right pools👇

1/ Find the Right Coins
➢ Head to dexscreener and look for a coin with high volume and a relatively low MCap (e.g., $20M Volume and $5M MCap).
➢ Make sure the liquidity is locked.
Recent examples: $UBC, #Mustard, $1
2/ Explore DLMM Pools
➢ use MeteoraAG, click DLMM, enable "Show unknown token," and search for the contract address of the token you found from Step 1.
➢ Select the pool with the highest TVL, or set up a new one yourself.
💡Prioritize pools with a high fee percentage, 1-2% pools can generate significantly higher earnings.

3/ Configure Liquidity
DLMM pools can be either 50/50 or single-sided:
▫️ Single-sided: Your position holds only one of the two tokens (similar to Uniswap V3).
▫️ 50/50: Your position holds both tokens (e.g., $SOL and your memecoin). To enable single-sided liquidity, toggle the Auto-Fill switch.
💡50/50 pools are my personal preference, but single-sided pools might be better if you’ve heavily invested in memecoins and lack enough $SOL.
4/ Choose a Strategy
Select a strategy based on your market outlook:
▫️ Spot: Works well for most market conditions (my go-to choice).
▫️ Curve: Best for stablecoin pairs—not suitable for memecoins.
▫️ Bid Ask: Ideal for highly volatile pairs. If you expect your memecoin to pump or dump significantly, choose this option.
5/ Add Liquidity and Monitor
➢ Double-check all your settings, then click Add Liquidity.
➢ You can adjust your pool position later or add/remove liquidity as needed.
➢ Regularly check the Positions tab to track and claim your rewards.
