As ARPA Network continues to blaze new trails in multi-party computation, we are constantly seeking mutually beneficial collaborations to push forward the bleeding edge of cryptographic developments. To this end, we’re happy to announce our partnership with SkyNet, an AI scaling and elastic compute layer powered by Phoenix. By joining the Phoenix AI Partner ecosystem, ARPA looks forward to working with Phoenix and contributing our expertise in MPC and ZKML (zero-knowledge machine learning) to build out new crypto infrastructure initiatives.

What is Phoenix and SkyNet

Phoenix is a leading blockchain infrastructure developer that’s leveraging artificial intelligence technology to support Web3 applications with focus on privacy-enabled dApps. SkyNet is a compute layer focused on scaling decentralized AI. It empowers users to conveniently deploy AI-models through the SkyNet Control Panel without needing to write code or via developer SDK. This provides users with swift utility and affordable resources through Phoenix’s AI Node Network.

SkyNet offers compute resources including CPU/GPU in return for tokenized rewards for an infinitely scalable AI compute platform. It features low computing costs and enhanced aggregation and intelligent allocation of GPU compute resources. PHB is part of the token economy to incentivize ecosystem participants. As a framework-agnostic and open platform, SkyNet is optimized for deep learning in order to improve AI accessibility and scalability.

ARPA Joins Phoenix Ecosystem and Stakes 60,000 PHB

ARPA Network is excited to partner with Phoenix in our continuing efforts to advance the future of blockchain infrastructure. As a pioneer in the field of multi-party computation through our BLS signature scheme for blockchain applications, ARPA is always seeking to push the boundaries in cryptography. Through our Randcast service, we harmonize elements such as non-interactiveness, availability, and threshold BLS to create a decentralized and robust RNG structure.

In a similar vein, ARPA wants to leverage AI technology to develop next generation infrastructure dApps. We have already begun research into zero-knowledge machine learning and its intersection with operating AI learning models on data spread across various nodes on our own decentralized network. Through our partnership with Phoenix, an expert in machine learning models and their applications to on-chain activity, ARPA will innovate new use cases for this rapidly developing technology.

Furthermore as part of our entry into the Phoenix AI ecosystem, ARPA Network will acquire and stake 60,000 $PHB tokens in the Phoenix Hybrid Staker. Since Phoenix has created one of Web3 industry’s first value-based utility staking programs, the scope of our 60,000 staked $PHB covers usage of Phoenix infrastructure, such as leveraging Phoenix SkyNet’s AI node network.

Looking Ahead

Our cooperation with Phoenix Global enables ARPA Network to breach new frontiers of crypto infra construction. We aim to use newly gained insights in the fields of AI, MPC, and ZKML to augment our existing Randcast RNG as well as create new protocols to serve both retail and enterprise clients in crucial blockchain network applications. Stay tuned for exciting updates!

About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure of verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.

ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.

Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
