According to a researcher from the Ethereum Foundation, Solana’s golden age may be coming to an end. In a recent podcast, Justin Drake discussed how Ethereum Layer 2 has surpassed Solana in terms of latency and throughput, making Solana’s advantages of fast transaction speed and low gas fees less competitive.
Ethereum, on the other hand, has been focusing on improving its Layer 2 infrastructure, which has shown significant improvements in scalability and performance. As a result, Solana may no longer be able to maintain its competitive edge against Ethereum in the long term.
