Flag football is becoming popular worldwide, and it is expected to be played by more people than tackle football in the near future. It is a safer and more easily scalable sport. The International Federation of American Football has 75 national member federations, and flag football is set to overtake tackle football in terms of organized participation opportunities.

The NFL Pro Bowl has made flag football their official game, and it will be included in the 2028 Summer Olympics. The event is led by Russell Okung, an NFL veteran who is also the founder and commissioner of the flag football event. He is a Bitcoin advocate and was the first professional athlete to be “paid in Bitcoin.” The inaugural Bitball matchup features over 22 football legends, including Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, Johnson Bademosi, Jurrell Casey, and Jared Evans.

The event will be live-streamed on Bitcoin Magazine’s channel, and interested brands can explore exclusive sponsorship opportunities. It is also an official side event of Bitcoin MENA 2024.
