Cronos Labs, a blockchain accelerator focused on developing the Cronos ecosystem, has deepened its collaboration with Google Cloud. This partnership will make Google Cloud the key cloud solution partner to Cronos to expand the Web3 ecosystem. This partnership will concern several areas i.e., protecting the network, inviting developers to the project, and stimulating blockchain and AI technical advancement.

Google Cloud Becomes Cronos Validator

Google Cloud is now an official validator within the Cronos ecosystem, joining a selective group of 32 validators. This addition strengthens the network’s security and decentralization by verifying transactions and producing new blocks. Google Cloud’s participation as a validator aligns with Cronos’s mission to build a robust, secure network with a strong foundation of open-source contributors, such as Crypto.com, Blockdaemon, and Ubisoft.

Cronos Labs has leveraged Google Cloud’s advanced infrastructure to support its new zkEVM Layer-2 network, ‘Cronos zkEVM’, designed to boost network efficiency and scalability. This high-performance infrastructure integrates the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Autopilot for efficient network management, AlloyDB for enhanced database support, and Google Compute Engine to generate zero-knowledge proofs using NVIDIA L4 GPUs.

The partnership also seeks to enforce developers’ interaction by establishing new uses of blockchain intersects with AI. Cronos has also provided full blockchain datasets for analysis on Google Cloud BIG QUERY to encourage using AI PLATFORMS and solutions. It offers directions for developers to consider more complex applications.

Support for Cronos Accelerator Startups

The Cronos Accelerator program also benefits Google Cloud in nurturing Web3 innovation with startups. Startups receive involvement in indexed Google Cloud credits, mentorship, and training under the Google for Startups Cloud Program, which enables them to build and deploy AI-powered Web3 applications in the Cronos ecosystem. This value-added support enhances the services of the Cronos Accelerator, making more developers work on the platform.

This partnership with Google Cloud is a major step for Cronos Labs in terms of the maturity of its ecosystem of projects, which focuses on security, expansibility, and developer support. Cronos has the technological assistant Google Cloud, allowing it to incubate the next generation of Web 3.0 applications that combine AI and blockchain.
