Ethereum ICO whale continues major sales

The investor, who joined the Ethereum ICO in 2015 and obtained thousands of ETH at the time, continues to sell. The investor, who sent 5000 ETH worth $13 million at night, to the OKX exchange still has more than 15 thousand tokens.

While it is wondered whether the decline in cryptocurrencies is over, it is seen that some of them have seriously returned in cash despite the intense purchases made by some whales. One of these selling whales draws attention with its participation in the Ethereum ICO in 2015.

Sent 48 thousand ETH

According to the information shared by on-chain tracking platform Lookonchain, this whale has sent 48,500 ETH worth approximately $154 million in the last month to the OKX exchange. The whale transferred 5000 ETH (about $13 million) to OKX again tonight.

The whale still holds 15,600 of the ETH it received at $0.31.

The number of ETH burned is also falling

It is not overlooked that transfers were made in a period when the prices were reduced and the number of Ether burned daily reached the lowest level in the last 1 year. Gas fees ranging from 1-2 gwei also reduced the number of Ether burned, while only 210 ETH left the system on Saturday. However, the number of ETH produced was 2000 units.

On August 5, when there were great declines in the cryptocurrency world, 5000 ETH per day were burned with the increase in volatility in Ether, and gas fees increased to 100 gwei.
