According to the Aave governance page, the Aave "Activate Fee Conversion" proposal has been submitted by the founder of the Aave Chan Initiative (ACI), Marc Zeller, for a temperature check with the community. The next step is for the Aave community to provide feedback on this matter, and a snapshot vote may be held. It is reported that the Aave Chan Initiative is one of the top independent organizations providing services to the Aave DAO. The proposal aims to return a portion of the platform's net excess revenue to its primary users.
